Rhino Skin® Warranty Policy

At Rhino Skin®, we take pride in producing durable, high-performance apparel built for the elements and trusted in the field.

Warranty Coverage

Rhino Skin® products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

If a product is found to be defective due to a manufacturing fault, Rhino Skin® will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product;
  • Replace the product with the same or equivalent item; or
  • Provide a refund where appropriate.

What Is Covered

Examples of manufacturing defects may include:

  • Faulty stitching or seam failure
  • Defective zips or fasteners
  • Material defects present at manufacture
  • Waterproof membrane failures resulting from manufacturing faults

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper care
  • Cuts, burns, tears, punctures, or abrasion from external sources
  • Damage caused by modifications, alterations, or repairs not authorised by Rhino Skin®
  • Fading, cosmetic wear, or deterioration expected through regular use

Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.

  • Clear photographs of the affected area

We aim to assess warranty claims within 5 business days of receiving all required information.

Return Shipping

Where a warranty claim is approved, Rhino Skin® may reimburse reasonable return shipping costs or provide a prepaid return label at its discretion.
